Watamu Triathalon Info

The Watamu Triathlon is an annual event that began in 2008. Set against the backdrop of stunning Watamu, on the Indian Ocean, it fields a broad range of participants – from international visitors looking for a great adventure to local residents wanting a change of pace.

In 2012, the two-day event will be held from  21st to 22nd  April, at Turtle Bay Beach Club, in Watamu. Watamu is an exciting holiday destination that features beautiful beaches, good roads with light traffic, and a wide range of land and marine attractions. The Watamu Triathlon is designed as an ultimate challenge for amateurs but with the key features of professional racing.

If you are a triathlete – whether an amateur, experienced age-grouper, or elite professional – come and race in Watamu. The race will surely be a special and memorable experience for you and your entire family.
